The Interfaith Alliance of Central California held its annual National Day of Prayer on May 4, 2017 at “M” Street Art Complex Gallery.
Faith leaders and community members wrote their prayers on pieces of colorful strips of paper, reflecting on peace, love and prosperity. Participants also created a multi-colored piece of art by pouring sand in a glass bowl and murmuring prayers of healing and peace. Both the paper chain and bowl will be displayed in each house of worship for two weeks, starting today at Unitarian Universalist church.
The event also included DJ music, international food and dessert.

Unity is power.
Everything starts with one step and moves forward.
I am proud of everyone that had participated.
I was unaware of the event.
Good luck and best wishes.
